Our Silent Auction for The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
We started this auction in 2004 when our sisters came together and decided that we could do more in raising money for The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF). Our chapter, and all AEPhi chapters nationally, hold this organization dear to our heart because Elizabeth Glaser was a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi. We hold this event in honor of her and to further support EGPAF's work.
How does it work?
The Silent Auction works in a rolling bid fashion, so each item is categorized and will begin being pulled by section towards the end of the night.
We also have a 50/50 raffle and grab bag that will occur during the event.
Where do our items come from?
All of our items you see in our auction are donated to us by all the amazing and generous businesses that we have in Michigan.
How much is donated?
All proceeds from the event is donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Did you know?
-
AEPhi chapters across the country have raised a combined $1.6M for EGPAF since our partnership began in 2000. Your chapter has raised over $130,000 – which means that after Saturday’s event, you’ll be responsible for raising nearly 10% of the entire sorority’s donations. The only chapter that has raised more than yours is the one at the University of Texas – whose student body is about three times the size of WSU’s! You should all be very proud of yourselves for the work you’ve done this year – and for what your chapter has made possible

Our 2023 Auction, won our chapter the 3rd place Philanthropy Award out of all of the chapters in the nation.
A message from EGPAF
To the sisters of Phi Sigma:
Thank you so much for organizing your annual Silent Auction to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. We deeply appreciate the generous support your chapter has provided us for so many years – more than $160,000 in total since 2001! This year’s proceeds will help further our efforts to treat and prevent HIV/AIDS in children and families around the world. Thank you for being a committed partner in our fight for an AIDS-free generation!
